Version 0.1.2 — Upcoming Release
This version is currently in development and is not yet available on Google Play. Completed changes will be documented here as work progresses.
Changes planned for this release
- NEWTONSQRT function
Added NEWTONSQRT(value), an alternative square-root calculation using Newton–Raphson (Babylonian) iteration. Supports zero and positive values, with negative real inputs rejected.
- NEWTONSQRT tools and assistance
Added NEWTONSQRT alongside SQRT in the Functions tool browser, with predictive-text recognition, syntax assistance, dedicated Help documentation, examples, and cross-references from SQRT.
- Google Play update checker
Fixed a packaging issue that prevented the in-app update checker from loading. The Java update bridge is now included correctly in Android builds.
- Clearer update-check messages
Improved messages when Google Play cannot check for updates, including a clearer explanation for installations that were not acquired through Google Play.
- Updated Google Play integration
Replaced a deprecated update-flow API call with its supported replacement.
- Customer debug options
Improved internal support and repair tools for restoring keyboard defaults, resetting keyboard and calculator preferences, clearing edit history, and recovering from damaged settings. Added an option to reset dismissed tips, reminders, and important notices, including the legal agreement.
- Legal notice and About screen improvements
Improved the presentation of the legal agreement and organized the About screen links for Privacy Policy, Full Legal, Change Log, and Legal Disclaimer.

October 2026
Version 0.1.1 — Current Release
Released October 2026. This update is available on Google Play.
Features
- Adjustable keyboard clicks
Choose Off, System Tick, or Adjustable Tick for keyboard sound feedback. Adjustable Tick offers a separate volume slider so you can tune the click level without changing the device’s overall media volume.
- Custom keyboard sounds
Select a WAV, MP3, OGG, or M4A file to use for keyboard feedback. The selected audio is copied into the app’s private storage, allowing it to continue working if the original file is moved or deleted.
- Per-keyboard feedback preferences
Each keyboard remembers its own sound mode, volume, and imported sound. Use Test Feedback to preview the chosen sound and vibration settings.
- What’s New screen
See the release notes when opening a newly updated version for the first time. Once acknowledged, the notes remain available through the About screen.
- Google Play update reminders
Check for available Google Play updates from within the app. Optional automatic reminders are limited to once per seven days and can be disabled; manual checks remain available in About.
Fixes & Improvements
- App-wide dark mode
Updated dark-mode styling across the application’s interface and controls. Custom keyboards retain their individually selected colors and appearance regardless of the surrounding interface theme.
- About screen organization
Arranged the Privacy Policy and Legal Disclaimer actions into matching columns. Added access to the Change Log and a manual Check for Updates action.
